Is faith alone really workable? In this work Swedenborg argues carefully and convincingly that it isn't. He describes what faith is, how we work to develop it, and how it must be conjoined with charity, i.e. love to the neighbor, to be real faith.

A është e mjaftueshme vetëm besimi? Jo. Në këtë vepër, Swedenborg argumenton me kujdes dhe bindshëm se nuk është. Ai përshkruan se çfarë është besimi, si punojmë për ta zhvilluar atë dhe si duhet të bashkohet me bamirësinë, d.m.th. dashurinë ndaj të afërmit, për të qenë besim i vërtetë.
