1-4 The Lord appeared in the midst of His Divine truth, which is the Word. (1, 7)
5-8 The doctrine of the church, derived from the Word not understood, was impure. (2, 17)
9-13 It is foretold that all understanding of the Word would perish, so that at last it would no longer be known what truth and good are in the church. (2)
