5. Manje-ke, Baba, ngikhazimulise kuwe uqobo ngenkazimulo enganginayo kuwe izwe lingakabikho.
Kulomkhuleko ongcwele kakhulu, uJesu uthandazela ukuthi uBaba amkhazimulise, nokuthi akhazimulise uBaba, ikakhulukazi njengoba elindele izinselele, izilingo, kanye nezinhlungu zehora Lakhe lokugcina. Uthando olusisondeza kuJesu alunzima. 8 Ngoba amazwi onginike wona, ngibanikile wona; futhi bamukele, futhi bazi ngempela ukuthi ngaphuma kuwe; bakholwa ukuthi wangithuma wena.
9. Ngiyabancengela; kangiceleli umhlaba, kodwa labo onginike bona, ngoba bengabakho.

Ngakho-ke, uJesu ugxila ekubalulekeni kobunye, ikakhulukazi phakathi nesikhathi sokulingwa esizayo. Ezweni, kodwa hhayi okomhlaba

Amazwi athi, “Angikhulekeli ukuthi Ubakhiphe emhlabeni,” asikhumbuza ukuthi sisemhlabeni ngenjongo. Sizalwa ukuze sibe yinkonzo komunye nomunye. Bangcwelise ngeqiniso lakho
Abafundi bayobhekana nezinselele eziningi ezingokomoya. Bayozondwa futhi bashushiswe ngoba bona, njengoJesu, ababona abezwe. Njengoba uJesu asho, “Abasibo abezwe, njengalokhu nami ngingesiye owezwe” (Johane 17:16). Noma kunjalo, abafundi kumelwe babe sezweni. Futhi uma nje besesemhlabeni, bayodinga isivikelo saphezulu. Kungakho uJesu ethi kuYise, “Bangcwelise ngeqiniso lakho. Izwi lakho liyiqiniso” (Johane 17:17).

Isicelo esingokoqobo
Kuhlelo lokusebenza olusebenzayo lwangaphambilini, sikhulume ngokuthandazela ukuvikelwa kwethu ngaphambi kokungena esikhathini esinzima. Lo mthandazo sawubiza ngokuthi “umthandazo wokulindela kusengaphambili.” Kwakugxilwe esidingweni sethu sokusekela nesiqondiso esingokomoya. Ngalesi sikhathi, njengesicelo esisebenzayo, ungazikhulekeli wena kuphela, kodwa futhi uthandazele nabanye okungenzeka babhekene nobunzima ezimpilweni zabo. UJesu Uthandazela Wonke Amakholwa

24. Baba, onginike bona, ngithanda ukuba labo onginike bona babe nami lapho ngikhona, ukuze babone inkazimulo yami onginike yona, ngokuba wangithanda kungakasekelwa umhlaba.

Njengoba uJesu athandazela ukuthi Yena noYise babe munye, nokuthi abafundi babe munye, manje uthandazela ubunye babo bonke abakholwayo, ukuze nabo babe munye. Njengoba uJesu ekubeka, “Ukuze bonke babe munye, njengalokhu Wena, Baba, ukiMi, nami ngikuwe; ukuze labo babe munye Kithi, ukuze umhlaba ukholwe ukuthi ungithumile. Lokhu, kunjalo, kungenzeka kuphela lapho abantu bebheka eNkosini ndawonye, befunda iqiniso Lakhe futhi baphile ngokuvumelana nalo. Ayikho enye indlela yokuletha ubunye beqiniso.
Empeleni, konke kuncike kulokhu: Akekho ongathola ukujula kothando lwaphezulu ngaphandle kokuba aqale eNdodaneni—okungukuthi, ngokufunda nangokuphila iqiniso. Ngamanye amazwi, iqiniso elifundiswa uJesu libonisa indlela yokuthola uthando lukaBaba. Khona-ke, ngalelo qiniso, uJesu usiholela ekuphileni okuphakade. Umbono wethemba
Kuyaphawuleka ukuthi nakuba uJesu eqala umthandazo wakhe wokuvalelisa ngokuzithandazela, ngokushesha udlulela phambili ethandazela bonke abazofundisa isigijimi saKhe.
