9 Het geschiedde nu, als zij overgekomen waren, dat Elia zeide tot Elisa: Begeer wat ik u doen zal, eer ik van bij u weggenomen worde. En Elisa zeide: Dat toch twee delen van uw geest op mij zijn!

Verse 9. And when falsities are dispersed by the power of the Divine Word there is perception thence, with those who are in good, that their desire for good is increased, producing an earnest longing for the full conjunction of goodness and truth from the Lord in themselves.
