47 And Solomon left all the vessels [unweighed] from their exceeding number; the weight of the brass was not ascertained.

Verse 47. And hence it is not given to the natural man by the Lord (during regeneration), to discern fully his quality as to natural truth or natural good, because the varying states of man are innumerable as to the former and unfathomable as to the latter.
