35 Και η μαχη εμεγαλυνθη εν τη ημερα εκεινη· ο δε βασιλευς ιστατο επι της αμαξης αντικρυ των Συριων, και προς το εσπερας απεθανε· και το αιμα ερρεεν εκ της πληγης εις τον κολπον της αμαξης.

Verse 35. And now, therefore, the crisis approaches; the corrupted man is unwilling at once to throw off his long cherished doctrinal opinions; but, in the end of that state, he is totally vastated, and his real character is manifested in externals.
