Leviticus 23:28

28 And ye shall do no manner of work on that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Jehovah your God.

Verse 28. And, therefore, no temptations are to be endured in that state, because it is the reconciliation of the external man with the internal, from the Lord, both as to good and truth.
