43 ヨシャパテは父アサのすべての道に歩み、それを離れることなく、主の目にかなう事をした。ただし高き所は除かなかったので、民はなお高き所で犠牲をささげ、香をたいた。

Verse 43. Yet still it is a state of obedience to truths from good in externals, and of truth from good in internals, although the affections of self-love have some power both in the will and understanding, so that worship in that state is defective as to affection and as to intelligence.
