40 あなたがたは身をめぐらし、紅海の道によって、荒野に進んで行きなさい』。

Verse 40. But it is necessary, in order that the evil cravings of the unregenerate heart may be removed, that the soul should be brought back into a state of temptation and trial, and where evil spirits will infest it and draw those evils forth.
