41 so that I also have walked contrary to them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they atone for their iniquity;

Verse 41. And that, therefore, the truth has appeared to be their enemy, and has inflicted evil upon them. But if then the good confess that evil punishes itself, and that of themselves they are nothing but impurity.
