Deuteronomy 2:28
Commentary on this verse
By Alexander Payne
Verse 28. It is willing to acquire from those principles and motives such conformity with custom as is necessary for life in the world by means of its perception of what is good from the Word that it may be sustained; and such worldly maxims as are essential, by means of its knowledge of truth, that the mind may be well stored with worldly information, only these things will only be used by the regenerate as transitory and comparatively inferior things.
