27 and the avenger of blood finds him beyond the boundary of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of blood.

Verse 27. And thus brings upon himself the consequences of actual evil, he must needs suffer; and guilt is not imputed to him who resists evil from good, and restrains it by punishment.
