8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh of the month, which was in the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzar-adan, captain of the body-guard, servant of the king of Babylon, came unto Jerusalem;

Verse 8. And when there are no longer any remains of faith, because the good of faith is profaned, even when the love of dominion rejects all conjunction with the Lord by remains, then the natural man, being in the process of judgment, entirely vastated and made subordinate to the love of dominion, invades and dominates the corrupted church.
