31 ויאמרו אליו עבדיו הנה נא שמענו כי מלכי בית ישראל כי מלכי חסד הם נשימה נא שקים במתנינו וחבלים בראשנו ונצא אל מלך ישראל אולי יחיה את נפשך׃

Verse 31. Also it is the suggestion of the sensual life of the natural man, that spiritual truth from good, in the corrupted church, is compliant and yielding from merely natural kindness; and hence that an appearance of the submission of the will and the understanding of the natural man to the spiritual, would he the cause of a mutual agreement of the latter with the former.
