Verse 27. And produces discontent in the inmost recesses of the heart, and suggests the thought that it was an evil thing that the Lord had permitted the mind to have a clear light of heavenly things, and delivered it from the thraldom of old fallacies to show to the soul the evils of the will which would now destroy it.
