And you shall measure from outside the city on the east quarter two··thousand in cubits, and on the south quarter two··thousand in cubits, and on the west◦ quarter two··thousand in cubits, and on the north quarter two··thousand in cubits; and the city shall be in the midst; this shall be for them the suburbs of the cities.

Verse 5. And the quality of this provision for the external of the natural man, is to be according to good and truth interior, and according to good and truth exterior; and it is to have conjunction with the internal truths which are the immediate receptacles of charity. And thus the external of the natural man is to minister to and serve the internal as to doctrines which are receptacles of charity,
