42 Ενω ετι ελαλει, ιδου, Ιωναθαν, ο υιος Αβιαθαρ του ιερεως, ηλθε· και ειπεν ο Αδωνιας προς αυτον, Εισελθε· διοτι συ εισαι ανηρ γενναιος και φερεις αγαθας αγγελιας.

Verse 42. But still there is, as yet, communication with the literal sense of the Word, which is supposed to favour self-love, and support its claims, which it does only in appearance.
