Commentarius in hunc versum

Verse 13. Moreover the corrupted man and thence the corrupted spiritual church, is opposed to Divine Truth as to his influence with those who are in good, in truth, and in the life of good and truth, thus in the beginning of sanctification; but these are in submission, nevertheless, to Divine Truth, having conjunction therewith by affection, by acknowledgment and by dependence thereon for the preservation of spiritual life, both as to good and as to truth;
