14 And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained but the poorest sort of the people of the land.

Verse 14. And thus the whole church is vastated, even every primary truth internal and external; so that there is a complete desolation, extending to every natural affection as to the will and as to the understanding; and scarcely any remains are left.
