Study

       

47 and they took possession of his land, and the land of Og the king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, who were on this side the Jordan, toward the sun-rising;

Verse 47. And the natural mind became occupied by the new desires and truths given from heaven, where the love of self and the love of the world formerly reigned, the two chief ruling evils which were in the natural mind before regeneration, and obscured the influx of good from heaven;
