29 ויהי כמלכו הכה את כל בית ירבעם לא השאיר כל נשמה לירבעם עד השמדו כדבר יהוה אשר דבר ביד עבדו אחיה השילני׃

Commentarius in hunc versum

Verse 29. For when this falsity prevails, hypocritical external worship is vastated, nor is even the acknowledgment of any truth possible, since it is totally rejected; for this is according to Divine Truth from the Lord as perceived by those in the good of charity, productive of peace.
