23 בשנת שלשים ואחת שנה לאסא מלך יהודה מלך עמרי על ישראל שתים עשרה שנה בתרצה מלך שש שנים׃

Commentarius in hunc versum

Verse 23. And sensual love does gain the dominion, when the faith of charity is completely vastated and a new state succeeds, which involves all previous states and includes a state of conflict against the truths of the understanding, from the delight of falsity conjoined with evil.
