26 וירא מלך מואב כי חזק ממנו המלחמה ויקח אותו שבע מאות איש שלף חרב להבקיע אל מלך אדום ולא יכלו׃

Commentarius in hunc versum

Verse 26. And the impure natural man, being sensible of so powerful a repression from apparent good, is disposed to consecrate all his force of lust and cunning reasoning to disperse apparent natural good with its doctrine; but this is not possible.
