17 And there shall be no man in the tent of meeting when he goeth in to make atonement in the sanctuary until he come out; and he shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and for the whole congregation of Israel.

Verse 17. And yet, truly, the worship of the Lord by man from inmost good, for the reconciliation of his life with the Lord's life, must be entirely as from himself without any admixture of evil or falsity, with inmost good, with interior good, or with good most external.
