34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make atonement for the children of Israel [to cleanse them] from all their sins once a year. And he did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

Verse 34. This is the eternal law of reconciliation with the Lord, on account of man's state as to evil; and it must be perpetual with every man of the church. And, in this work, good always acts according to truth from the Lord.
