46 Mettete il cuor vostro a tutte le parole, le quali oggi io vi protesto, acciocchè insegniate a’ vostri figliuoli di prender guardia di mettere in opera tutte le parole di questa Legge.

Versetto 46. In cui si percepisce che le cose ora impresse nella comprensione dalla verità divina devono essere eseguite nella vita con tutto il cuore; in modo che le leggi dell'ordine celeste come date nella Parola possano governare l'intera anima dai primi principi all'ultimo.



To many Protestant and Evangelical Italians, the Bibles translated by Giovanni Diodati are an important part of their history. Diodati’s first Italian Bible edition was printed in 1607, and his second in 1641. He died in 1649. Throughout the 1800s two editions of Diodati’s text were printed by the British Foreign Bible Society. This is the more recent 1894 edition, translated by Claudiana.
