9 และอยู่มาเมื่อท่านทั้งสองข้ามไปแล้ว เอลียาห์จึงพูดกับเอลีชาว่า "จงขอสิ่งที่อยากให้ข้าพเจ้าทำเพื่อท่านก่อนที่ข้าพเจ้าจะถูกรับไปจากท่าน" และเอลีชาตอบว่า "ขอให้ฤทธิ์เดชของท่านอยู่กับข้าพเจ้าเป็นสองเท่าเดิม"

Verse 9. And when falsities are dispersed by the power of the Divine Word there is perception thence, with those who are in good, that their desire for good is increased, producing an earnest longing for the full conjunction of goodness and truth from the Lord in themselves.
