28 אַךְ־כָּל־חֵרֶם אֲשֶׁר יַחֲרִם אִישׁ לַיהוָה מִכָּל־אֲשֶׁר־לֹו מֵאָדָם וּבְהֵמָה וּמִשְּׂדֵה אֲחֻזָּתֹו לֹא יִמָּכֵר וְלֹא יִגָּאֵל כָּל־חֵרֶם קֹדֶשׁ־קָדָשִׁים הוּא לַיהוָה׃

Verse 28. Moreover, no affection or power that a man devotes to the Lord, from that life which seems to be his own, or at his own disposal, whether it be internal, interior, or external, is to be alienated or applied to selfish and worldly purposes; it is to be fully ascribed to the Lord.
