[3] Ngakhoke kumele kwethulwe kuqala ubufakazi obuvela eZwini bokuthi ihlelo lokugagulwa kwamagama ezizwe liyaguquguquka eZwini, nokuthi lokho nalokho kuguquka kwehlelo lokuphathwa kwamagama ezizwe kukhanyelelwa yisimo esithile sesihloko. Zonke lezizizwe zichazwe kusukela egunjini elibheke empumalanga kuya egunjini elibheke olwandle noma entshonalanga, ngaphandle kwesizwe sikaGadi esasisegunjini laseningizimu elibheke eningizimu (bheka kuHezekeli 48:1-7, 23-26). Nangehlelo lalabo ababebekwe uphawu, izinkulungwane eziyishumi nambili kuleso nalesosizwe, kungabonwa kwisAmbulo 7:5-8. Kuzozonke lezizindawo ihlelo lokulandelana kwezizwe lencike ngokuphelele esimweni sesihloko okukhulunywa ngaso nesiqhanyiswa yilelohlelo. Lesosimo sibonakala ngokwandulelayo nangokulandelayo.

[6] Ihlelo lokulandelana kwamatshe ayigugu kwi-Urimi neThumimi liyaphathwa futhi liyachazwa eZwini, kodwa ukuthi lelo nalelolitshe laliqhamisa siphi isizwe kakuchazwanga. Ngokuba lawomatshe ayefanekisa zonke izinto zokukhanya kwelangabi lasezulwini lamazulu, okungukuthi, zonke izinto zokulunga okuphuma eqinisweni, noma zonke izinto zenkolo ephuma esiseni senhliziyo. Nangenxa yokuthi lawomatshe ayefanekisa lezozinto uqobo lokukhanya kwasezulwini kwakukhanya kuwo ngendlela emangalisayo ngokusukela esimweni sesihloko okubuzwe ngaso kwanikwa nempendulo. Ukukhanya okumhlophe futhi okunyazimayo kwakumele impendulo evumayo maqondana nokulunga neqiniso, okwakungukukhanya okuhambisana nemibala eyahlukene yamatshe, nangokuhambisana kokwahlukahlukana kwesimo sokulunga neqiniso—njengasezulwini lapho zonke izinto zakhona zihambisana nemibala ethile nangokwahluka-hlukana kwayo, okuyinto eyenzeka ngendlela engenakuchazeka nengaphezulu kokuqondwa ngumuntu. Ngokuba njengoba sekuke kwaphawulwa, ukukhanya kwasemazulwini kugodle impilo evela eNkosini, kanjalo kugodle inhlakanipho nenkalipho. Ngakhoke ukukhanya okwahlukahlukene kugodle konke okuyimpilo, okungukuthi, konke okuyinhlakanipho nenkalipho; kanti ukwahlukahlukana kwamandla elangabi, kokunyazima, nokukloba kugodle konke okuyimpilo yokulunga nempilo yeqiniso eliphuma ekulungeni, okungukuthi, konke okungokothando lokuthanda iNkosi nokwenkolo esuselwe kulolothando. Yayinjalo-ke i-Urimi neThumimi okwakusesihlangwini sesifuba semvunulo ka-Aroni maqondana nenhliziyo yakhe. Isizathu sokuchonywa kwesihlangu sesifuba maqondana nenhliziyo ka-Aroni wukuthi “inhliziyo” ifanekisa uthando loBunkulunkulu (bheka inombolo 3635, nengxenye esekugcineni kwalesiSahluko esiphezu kwaso). Nangalesisizathu lawomatshe angamagugu ayebekwe ezisekelweni zegolide, ngokuba “igolide” engqondweni engaphakathi lisho ukulunga okuyisici sothando (bheka izinombolo 113, 1551, 1552), ne “tshe eliyigugu” lisho iqiniso elikhanya ngenxa yokulunga okukulo (bheka inombolo 114).

[7] Mayelana ne-Urimi neThumimi sifunda ku-Eksodusi kaMose ukuthi:

Uyokwenza isihlangu sesifuba sokwahlulela, kube ngumsebenzi wengcweti yokuklama, usenze njengokwenziwa kwengubo yamahlombe; ngegolide, nangokuluhlaza, nangokububende nangelineni elicolekileyo lemicu ephothiweyo. Siyoba nezinhlangothi ezine ezilinganayo lapho siphindwe kabili. Uyosibeka ezisekelweni zamatshe, kube yizinhla ezine zamatshe. Kuyokubakhona izinkotho zegolide ezisekelweni zamatshe. Amatshe ayokuba njengamagama abantwana bakwa-Israyeli, abe yishumi nambili njengamagama abo. Yilelo nalelolitshe liyokuba negama lesinye sezizwe eziyishumi nambili (Eksodusi 28:15-21; 39:8-14),

Ukuthi uJehovah noma iNkosi kwakubuzwa kuYo maqede iphendule ngesu le-Urimi neThumimi kubonakala kuNumeri kaMose, lapho kuthiwa khona:

UJehovah wathi kuMose: Zithabathele uJoshuwa indodana kaNuni. Wena uyobeka udumo lwakho phezu kwakhe ukuze ibandla lonke labantwana bakwa-Israyeli lilalele. Yena uyokuma phambi kuka-Eleyazare umphristi, oyokumbuzela ngokunquma kwe-Urimi phambi kukaJehovah (Numeri 27:18, 20, 21).

NakuSamuweli kuthiwa:
