2 Command the children of Israel that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive oil for the light, to light the lamp continually.

Verse 2. That there is influx from the Lord with the man of the Spiritual Church, inducing him to acknowledge that the good of celestial love, adapted to his state, is the origin of all spiritual truth, in order that there may be light in the spiritual kingdom perpetually.
