41 And it came to the ears of Adonijah and all the guests who were with him, when their meal was ended. And Joab, hearing the sound of the horn, said, What is the reason of this noise as if the town was worked up?

Verse 41. Wherefore self-love, with all its attendant powers, is restrained, evil being appropriated, while falsity from evil is sensible of the presence of Divine Truth which reveals its true character, and shows that it produces nothing but disorder.
