7 They traveled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon: and they encamped before Migdol.

Verse 7. Hence there is a decline from good, because man is not yet prepared, and the way must be opened by the excitement of hidden evils, when truth operates from above and within, and evil from below and without.
