38 ויאמר שמעי למלך טוב הדבר כאשר דבר אדני המלך כן יעשה עבדך וישב שמעי בירושלם ימים רבים׃

Verse 38. But this love, in its orderly state, perceives the truth, and is submissive and obedient to the good and truth of the church; and thus it is ever in harmony with the church.
