17 And if he smite him with a stone in hand, with which he could die, and he die, a murderer is he◦; the murderer dying shall be put·​·to·​·death.

Verse 17. Also he who by the power of falsity which is from its nature opposed to good, wilfully takes away spiritual life from another, is certainly guilty, and brings upon himself a state of vastation.
