18 But if he dedicates his field after the jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the silver according to the years that remain until the year of jubilee, and there shall be a reduction in your valuation.

Verse 18. But if this state of worship is not derived from such inmost conjunction, but looks forward to it, then from good its quality will be according to acquired truth implanted in good during the course of regeneration, and consequently will be less perfect in the beginning.
