3 And she said to her mistress, Oh, would that my lord were before the prophet that is in Samaria! then he would cure him of his leprosy.

Verse 3. But spiritual affection, even in its state of captivity, insinuates the thought, that only when the natural reason of man is under the influence of spiritual truth can it be delivered from profanation.
