29 And we boiled my son, and ate him: and I said to her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him; and she has hidden her son.

Verse 29. So that thus violence is done to the truth through falsity being appropriated; good is still further corrupted by the desire to appropriate falsity; and then even the semblance of truth disappears.
