12 They were married within the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of their father's family.

Verse 12. And thus it is conjoined eternally with the truths derived from the new will of good which is peculiar to the Celestial of the Spiritual Church; and the external truths thereof remain in that subdivision and general class to which they properly belong, on account of their origin.
