20 וָאֹמַר אֲלֵכֶם בָּאתֶם עַד־הַר הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ נֹתֵן לָנוּ׃

Verse 20. And the soul is instructed by Divine truth that it is of itself in a state of self-love, and that it is able to overcome it by means of good and truth from the Lord.
