29 No one devoted, who has been set apart from men, shall be ransomed; he must be put to death.

Verse 29. And, in short, nothing which is devoted to the Lord from internal acknowledgement can be alienated by selfish love; it is fully ascribed to the Lord by the conjunction of truth with good, and therefore the old life must be rejected, and the new life must be eternal.
